Franklin Institute
For mutual, we went to the Franklin Institute to see the Narnia exhibit
My deacons - Josh, TJ, Isaiah, Vian, kadhafi
I grew a toof!
Isaac and I were chillin' at the house this morning. He started chewing on his fingers and it clicked that he's been chewing on them a lot the past few days. So I checked his gums just for fun and what do you know but there was a little white toof poking through!!!
First tooth, just shy of four months. Good job baby!

Bumbo Seat
We got one of those cool Bumbo seats for Isaac.
My rule was I had to find it on Craigslist and it had to be (1) blue, (2) in Drexel Hill and (3) only cost $10. Almost impossible, right? BUT, lo and behold, within a week of looking someone listed a BLUE one, in DREXEL HILL for ONLY $10. Awesome. What luck?!

It cracks me up to see him sitting upright at just a few months. I can't help but laugh every time I put him in.
We'll have to see how much longer the 18lb 9oz "tank" can fit in it though. His legs are rather chunky and the seat already hangs on when I try to take him out. Yikes!

Ho Ho Ho, I mean, Ha Ha Ha
Isaac's developing his own little laugh. I tried catching it on film tonight. Check 'em out.
To all our family and friends out there -- we miss you guys! Hope you had a very merry Christmas.

Craig visits the Big Apple
Baby Blessing
Craig blessed baby Isaac the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Here's our family photo in the tiniest hallway in the whole church. You can thank me for that fabulous idea. It was fun to have Craig's parents there and have his dad in the circle for the blessing. And thanks Grandma Connie for the blessing outfit!
Isaac meets the African Santa
My work holiday dinner and the ward Christmas party ended up being on the same night at the same time. What are the odds, right? Oh, what to do.
After some deliberation, we decided the work party couldn't be missed, nor could Isaac miss a photo op with the African Santa. He wouldn't be a true member of P1 (or our family!) and miss that experience.
So, Craig and I headed off to the "country" (ok, Newtown Square, but once you get off West Chester Pike and get on a country road, you truly are in the country) and enjoyed hor'dourves at an incredible farm house dating back to 1792, meanwhile...
The Schappers, the good people that they are, took Little Man to the church to see...

Yep, the big man in the red suit. Oh yeah.

it's been a while
So, it's been a while since I've posted. I know, I know. I'm in big trouble. But I went back to work part-time and something had to give temporarily. And what "gave" was the blog.
Don't worry - I have lots of good stuff saved up. Isaac with our African Santa, some 3 1/2 month pictures and maybe even Thanksgiving if I'm feeling up to it. Stay tuned!!
