DwellStudio

I'd just like to say that I love DwellStudio (you may have seen some of their stuff at Target). And I hope to someday actually own something from them because I love just about everything they make.

I especially love this.

Craig, think you can make it for me??? :)

Valley of the Sun

My brother, Tyler, flew home from his mission in Spain last week, so Isaac and I made our way down to the valley to see him. He didn't fly in until evening so we went down early and made a day trip of it.

First off, we met Alec and Amanda at SUNSPLASH! We had so much fun.

Isaac went down the little kiddie slide so many times I lost count. He had a grand old time on lazy river and would yell "Nanda" or "Aaaa" (for Alec) if either of their tubes got too far away from him.

Mandy even watched him so Alec and I could go down some of the new slides I haven't been on. The half-pipe tube one was awesome and the "toilet bowl" slide -- bonzi that literally drops you into a toilet bowl shaped contraption where the only way out is dropping out a huge hole in the middle into a deep pool beneath you -- was, well, not my favorite. I'm usually not a whimp with scary slides, but there is something about small, deep pools that scares the begeebees out of me.

I couldn't believe it, but I even got Isaac to go down the classic inner-tube water slides with me. I didn't know how he'd do in a double tube with me where he had to ride alone in front but he was a champ and went down TWICE! We have got to go again some time and next time bring DAD.

And now to the real reason we went -- TYLER COMING HOME! Welcome home bro! We've missed you. This was his greeting committee.

Mandy with the short people - Isaac and Susan. I'm sure the airport carpet is clean, right?

All photo credits belong to my sister, Amanda, as I stole them all from her. My camera is broken. :(
