My little sister graduated!

I went down to Gilbert last week for Milissa's high school graduation. I can't believe she's all grown up!

My mom and sisters

Congrats, Milissa! You're on your way.

BIG NEWS

Since Isaac turned 19 or 20 months, we've been spending a lot of time with him on the toilet. Mostly just sitting and reading books while he's on the pot. It feels like I have most of his books memorized now. Anyway, we read and talk about pee-pee and poo-poo and how someday he'll go on the toilet like mom and dad.

With a little motivation from the book On Becoming Toddlerwise, I kicked it up a notch yesterday and starting talking to him about wet and dry diapers and how we want to be dry and clean and put him on the toilet a few more times than usual. And today, walah!

Isaac POOPED...... IN THE TOILET!

We danced. We sang. We did a victory lap around the kitchen. He got fruit snacks. We put the whole box of fruit snacks on the bathroom counter for future motivation.

I know this is the beginning of a long journey to really have him potty trained, but still a happy, happy day and nice to be on the road to get there.

Dad's response: "Holy CRAPOLA!" :)

p.s. for anyone who cares... On Becoming Toddlerwise (by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam), is a follow-up to On Becoming Babywise -- the book that changed my life and got Isaac sleeping through the night consisently since he was 3 months old. I highly recommend it!

Adventures with the Halls

Meredith and Berkley came up for the 89A open house and stayed the weekend with us. It was great to hang out and catch up.

Mer and I took the boys to swimming lessons at the YMCA, then picnicked at the zoo and checked out the animals.

The bear, Shash, is my favorite. He even stood up and scratched his back on the fence for us!

The boys had a hay day in the tub. I can't believe how big they're both getting! A year ago, Isaac was just starting to crawl and they're both little boys now. Tan Man is getting so tall. I'm definitely seeing a basketball in his future. :)

TICKLE TIME! The boys horsing around.

Thanks for coming all the way up to see us! We've missed you.

"Woss" and family come to visit

Uncle Ross, Aunt Annie and cousins Elliott and Wyatt came all the way to Prescott Valley to visit us this weekend. We have missed them and are so glad they came!

Here they are checking out our new office. See, what a beautiful little family. Elliott got to sit in the chair and get his first real check up from Uncle Craig. Good times.

Then we got to horse around at the office for a bit.

This is Baby Wyatt, who just turned one this week, with his Mama.

Are these boys related or what?

We attempted on a couple of occassions to get the 3 boys together for a picture. This was the best one I had on my camera. Sorry for the weird effect. Making it fuzzier, actually made this action shot clearer, if you can believe that!

And I thought I'd end with my favorite pic...

ONE HUGE COUSIN HUG! Thanks so much for making time to visit us.

Isaac's first campout

Craig took Isaac on the Fathers and Son's campout tonight. Whoo hooo!

Craig rocks and has been sending me photo uploads from his phone. This one is from the fireside:

Isaac loving the tent!

Asleep at last!

Mummy bag

I'm definitely missing my boys and feel like I'm missing out on the party!
And I can't wait to try out the new tent for myself! We just bought it today and have affectionately named it "the condo" because it's huge (3-rooms!), has a swing-hinge door, roll down windows and I think I even saw a doggie door that you can zipper open and closed! Anyone want to come camping? We have room! :)
