Wild Wild West

A few weeks ago, Craig and I took a much anticipated trip to the west in search of what we should do/where we should go after Craig graduates in May. We started in Las Vegas and stayed at the South Point hotel (10 min. south of the strip). Not as fancy as some of the ones on the strip, but new and within our budget. Here's what our room looked like:

We were SO LUCKY that Ross, Annie and Elliott happened to be in Las Vegas at the exact same time and we got to hang out with them. Way cool. It was great to see you guys! Sorry, no pics of that (we forgot to pull out the camera until a few days before we went home).

After driving around Vegas, we made our way over to St. George to check out the area and say hello to Heath and Amanda. Thanks again for showing us around! Then, we flew up to SLC for a super quick visit to see Craig's fam and talk with some dentist friends up there. A special thanks to Shea and Mindy for your advice and hospitality.

Finally, we flew to Phoenix. Craig hadn't been back there since my sister Kristi's wedding in 2006, so it was fun to be there together. We weren't there long, but were lucky to see lots of friends and family between our driving around and checking out Phoenix and surrounding areas. A huge thank you to all the friends and family who came to our baby shower/shin-dig on Sunday! Here are some fun pics from that:

Props to my sister Milissa, the chef, who made crepes for everyone - you da best!

Running around...

Craig and I ran around in different directions yesterday. I spent the day in Manhattan for the ward temple trip and Craig loaded up boys and left for scout camp near Harrisburg.

Since I have no pictures to post from NYC (didn't have the camera), I decided to post some from the last YM sleepover at our house. Seemed appropriate since I'm missing Craig and he's chillin' with "the boys." Enjoy!

Superhero Mutts

Roxy and Rita think they can fly. We took them to the beach in Delaware a few weeks ago. Great fun.
We found out our camera was broken this trip. Evidently, no shades of tan registered whatsoever.
Dog tired. Too much flying.

As with all other forms of #2, be prepared for this to stink...
Peace be unto all those out there that are concerned for the well-being of our blog. Rest assured that it still has a pulse and no intervention is needed... yet. Evidently, after setting everything up, I failed to officially turn the reins over to Christina.

So... we have succumb to peer pressure...

Starting a blog was almost as hard as deciding to have a kid. It's a big commitment! What if we neglect it? Our friends and family will come after us like Child Protective Services. Let's hope we don't screw up either.
