Monday - What's up Doc?

Monday was Isaac's first trip to the doctor. And also my first time trying to be punctual with a baby. Other than being a few minutes late, the visit went great. Here are some stats:

Birth weight: 8 lbs 5 oz
Hospital discharge weight: 8 lbs 1 oz
Doctor visit weight: 8 lbs 12 oz

That's right. Just one week later, not only did he get back to his birth weight, he gained 7 oz! They weighed him 3 times to make sure the reading was right. :)



Here we are waiting for the doctor to come in. Isaac is still clothes-free from all the weighing and measuring.

Next, we were surprised to see a familiar face come into the exam room...



Susan Hardy was there doing a rotation at our pediatrician's office! What are the odds? She checked his little heartbeat and whole bunch of other things. We had quite the party. Isaac even pooped 3 times while we were there. The nurses and doctor's had to keep waiting for me to change him. Good boy!



Back at home... pooped.
